Grid computing, outsourcing solutions and desktop systems for research work

Private HPC Cloud
T-Systems Solutions for Research GmbH (T-Systems SfR) is one of the major shareholders of the HWW GmbH (Höchstleistungsrechner für Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft GmbH), a Public-Private-Partnership for the dynamic provisioning of HPC. In this context T-Systems Solutions for Research GmbH is able to offer HPC ressources, which significantly exceed the Petaflop range.
In order to provide access to scalable, fast and yet highly secure HPC ressources, T-Systems Solutions for Research GmbH offers an onboarding infrastructure which is dedicated per customer. This infrastructure features dedicated Filesystems, dedicated Pre- and Postprocessing nodes, dedicated License Servers and/or Remote Visualisation. HPC compute ressources are provided on demand as a partition of available compute resources, where the nodes of the partition are rebooted upfront into a stateless, immutable OS image.
