ICT security is not merely a matter of hardware or software, or the latest technological innovations. The design of security-related processes is equally decisive.

Even the smartest, most sophisticated IT security solution can be compromised without adequate planning, coordination, implementation, and checks. Keeping IT security risks manageable requires the definition of basic principles, policies and standards, plus sound organization and robust processes. T-Systems analyzes, designs, optimizes and implements IT security processes and corresponding organizational structures with the aim of creating a highly effective, highly transparent environment for security management.

Our work is based on both national and international standards, including ISO 2700x and the base-line IT protection manual of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). Our service modules include the drafting of policies and organizational manuals. We help with identifying corporate assets, and with performing risk analysis and evaluation, we outline appropriate protective measures and develop process descriptions and operations models. Awareness programs and targeted coaching and training encourage the adoption of these measures on the ground.
