Multiple award distinctions: T-Systems is given recognition for a highly innovative hosting proposal, a solution for virtual analysis of workstations, the high standard for global data transfer, and for the Real ICT info packet.
“The SAP Pinnacle Awards go to partners who have made solid contributions to increased value creation from SAP applications and services for our shared customers,” says Zia Yusuf, hosting at the award ceremony on behalf of SAP. From SAP’s point of view, that is precisely what T-Systems accomplished in the “Outsourcing – Hosting” category with “Dynamic Services for SAP solutions.” Through this solution, customers always obtain exactly the amount of infrastructure and support that they need, according to their needs. Payments are made based on use – the same as utilities like electricity and water. This could lead to an up to 30% reduction in costs for SAP operations.
Another solution that was also worthy of recognition will soon help SEAT employees work in greater comfort. The service provider was distinguished at the 34th International Motor Show in Barcelona for this achievement. The innovative solution simulates the individual workstation environment of employees in production, before SEAT invests in new production routes and equipment. The objective is to minimize the risk to employees of medical conditions caused by poor ergonomics – and ultimately lead to a lower the absenteeism rate. British market research firm Telemark Services praised the Deutsche Telekom subsidiary for its exemplary international data transfer solution. Telemark regularly surveys approximately 300 major international companies about the performance of service providers with global operations. This year, T-Systems received the Gold Award in five out of eight categories: for secure data transfer, for eliminating hidden incidental expenses, for error-free invoicing, for installation guarantees. These were accompanied by an additional fifth distinction, “Best in Class,” for unmatched quality in installations. Janet Watkin, Director of Telemark: “Buyers are well advised to consider the strengths and weaknesses of their Service Provider.“ The interactive Real ICT information packet received the 2007 Red Dot Award. The prize is an internationally recognized seal of quality for excellent communications design. The information packet shows how clear, understandable messages can be delivered in the not always uncomplicated ICT business. Try it out yourself:
