For example, products are fitted with RFID tags or sensors that capture and save information on content, delivery dates, location, etc. This data is then automatically transferred via GPS/GSM or RFID readers to the central AutoID/RES platform – where it is processed before being delivered in the format required by your enterprise systems. The result? A seamless information network that helps protect against theft, shrinkage, piracy, and mistakes in the number, type or destination of deliveries.
