Saving dynamically

December 10, 2007

Many companies have high ICT capacities ready all over the year – just to cover peak loads. But this is inefficient. Therefore, more and more companies are counting on Dynamic Services from T-Systems. This way they receive exactly the quantity they need and save up to 30 percent.
A shelf full of chocolate Santas and in front of it, Stefan Getrost, SAP expert at T-Systems, is holding a chocolate Easter Bunny. This is how the latest motive of the T-Systems advertising campaign is staging Dynamic Services. Before that, there were advertisements whose topic were T-Systems’ contribution to Green IT and the clock change. The service provider understands Dynamic Services as the ability to supply ICT capacities according to demand: Dynamic Services dynamically adapts ICT capacities like bandwidth, computing power and data storage to the business processes of the customers. This is how not only peak periods like Christmas and Easter become efficient, but also the summer slump. Because: Our customers only pay for what they actually use – just like with electricity or water.
The ideal form of ICT architecture
This is how ICT costs in a company can be decreased by up to 30 percent with T-Systems’ Dynamic Services. Because over capacities of ICT bind unnecessary capital. But with Dynamic Services companies count exclusively on productive resources. More and more customers are therefore receiving their ICT dynamically from T-Systems data centers – the number has almost doubled in 2007. And for a long time now not only large companies have profited from Dynamic Services advantages, but also increasingly small and medium sized businesses.
