Joachim Langmack to become Chief Sales & Service Officer for T-Systems Enterprise Services

Frankfurt, December 13, 2007

In a meeting held today, the Supervisory Board of T-Systems Enterprise Services appointed Joachim Langmack to Chief Sales & Service Officer effective February 15, 2008. Langmack assumes responsibility for sales and service for large international enterprises and public institutions. Zvezdana Seeger will continue in her function as temporary head of the unit until Langmack begins.

He is experienced in the international service market and has deep knowledge of our industry through his many years of experience as a top executive and consultant,” noted Deutsche Telekom Board Member and T-Systems CEO Reinhard Clemens. “Langmack complements our management team outstandingly – both professionally and personally – and will provide new impetus to our network-centric solutions business serving large international enterprises and public sector institutions.”
Joachim Langmack, 63, began his professional career at IBM in 1970, holding a number of different management positions. In 2000, as IBM Germany’s Chief Representative and Executive Director of IBM Consulting, he left the company to found CITAG Consulting. In 2002, Langmack finally moved to EDS, where he held the position of Director of EDS Business Solutions and served on the Supervisory Board of EDS Operation Services GmbH until joining T-Systems. He was responsible for a number of years for sales at EDS and for closing mega deals in Central Europe.
