The new world speaks IP

IP convergence is nothing more than voice and data communication running on one network. And it pays off for companies of all sizes.

An increasing number of companies that want to stay flexible and grow are upgrading both their PBX systems and their data networks. With a consolidated IP network, companies save the administration, maintenance and operation expense that comes with two separate networks. According to the international IT consulting firm Gartner, switching to an IP network can reduce annual costs at companies by up to 30 percent. And that is only the beginning.

When a network makes data and applications available everywhere, it no longer matters where you are accessing the network from. With intelligent communications technology, you can "be at work" regardless of your location. Field staff, branch and home office employees as well as external personnel who need to be connected to work on a specific project, for example, can use an office in their pocket in the form of a small USB stick. This technology gives them secure, mobile access to corporate data from anywhere. And there is more: They are also able to quickly, cost efficiently and wirelessly connect to the corporate voice network.
