The Bosch Group has once again chosen T-Systems as network provider. The business customer segment of Deutsche Telekom will now operate the technology company’s corporate network Europe-wide. The service agreement has a value in the upper eight-figure Euro range over a term of five years.
With this agreement, Bosch is intensifying its global network strategy and increasingly relying on centralized infrastructure and services from a single provider. T-Systems has operated the company’s network in Germany for many years and has also provided over 200 Bosch locations in the Asian-Pacific region with network-centric ICT services since the end of 2006. Now over 300 locations in 23 countries will be added.
For Bosch, the world’s number one automobile supplier, round-the-clock ICT services form the basis for many of its operations. Without daily access to various applications and data spread across the globe, the internationally active development, production and sales teams cannot carry out their business activities effectively. The transport medium for all data and information is the Bosch Corporate Network. T-Systems will now make this network fit for European operations with high-speed MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switiching) technology.
