T-Systems and Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) are in a cooperative partnership, which enables the customers of both companies to benefit from a wide range or telecommunications services and global network access.
Malaysia is making a name for itself – and not only because it boasts the tallest office building in the world. Today the country is among the economically strongest in Asia and has long become an important support base for many European and US companies. One of the reasons for this is the quickly developed communication infrastructure. In order to improve the international connection to high-performance IP networks, T-Systems and TM have entered into a cooperation agreement. TM will provide T-Systems direct access through its local networks to its own global IP network of the Telekom subsidiary.
Bandwidth for optimal service
This will enable customers to be seamlessly connected to the US and to other Asian countries from Malaysia through reliable broadband access. "Malaysia is becoming increasingly important for T-Systems. That is why we are pleased about this expansion of our IP infrastructure," says Dieter Sieber, Head of Telecommunications Operations at T-Systems in the Asia Pacific region. Thanks to this access to the global IP network, T-Systems can now offer its customers complex applications that require high bandwidths and stable connections.
