T-Systems and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Interior received the Public Private Partnership Innovation Prize 2006 for their joint work on the information management project "Polizei-Online/Bildung21."
An integrated system has been created in the project with which administrative offices can actively manage the information they have on hand as well as their demands for information and education. With "Polizei-Online/Bildung21," administrative employees can further their education, access and forward cross-organization information and expertise and form information exchange groups. In addition to meeting the innovation criteria, the factors that convinced the jury were the resulting cost savings, the decreased preparation time for educational measures by one-third and efficient minimization of risks.
"For us, the Innovation Prize is clear proof that our concepts for a new relationship between government and business are successful and point the way to the future," said a pleased Bernhard Bresonik, business area head of Public at T-Systems, at the award ceremony on April 25th in Berlin.
The Public Private Partnership Innovation Prize is awarded by the Public Private Partnership federal association and the Behördenspiegel to both public and private partners for endeavors that set new standards.
