At the specialized trade fair GPEC, T-Systems will present solutions for secure communication, security force control centers and cross-border cooperation between Europe's security authorities.
Partner to the public sector
GPEC – General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference – is a closed trade fair for police equipment, security technology and security services. It is exclusively open to representatives from authority offices. The GPEC's objectives include promoting an interdepartmental and interdisciplinary exchange of information, presenting innovative technologies for state security forces and increasing public safety. A the GPEC T-Systems will be present itself as a reliable partner of the public sector with customer-oriented solutions and highly qualified, experienced and – where required – security-certified employees.
Secure networks. Secure data. Safe citizens.
The public sector benefits when security forces are a step ahead when it comes to information. The data on which this advantage is based needs to be treated according to official regulations and must not fall into the hands of unauthorized parties. Secure networks require secure communication and secure processes, both internally and externally. It does not matter whether you are dealing with voice or data, fixed-line, mobile or satellite-supported communication: If you are searching for highly secure, reliable networks to be used for public safety, the trail will always lead you to T-Systems.
Security force control centers and digital trunked radio
When you combine these networks with the right applications, you end up with secure, integrated solutions that simplify tasks for security offices and help protect the lives, health and safety of both security forces and citizens. Take the interaction of security force control centers and the future technology digital trunk radio for emergency service organizations, for example. The FELIS task force control system uses the new trunked radio technology to provide a secure exchange of voice information as well as deployment, search and positioning data between emergency service control centers and individual or groups of connected, on-site security forces.
Police procedures and cooperation throughout Europe
Once a job is done, the process starts all over again. In the middle is the battle against mountains of paperwork. Unless, of course, you use the right processing, search and communication system such as POLIKS, which not only supports operational tasks but also provides high quality simplification of the documentation and case tracking process. The advantage: faster research, less paperwork, less deskwork and more time to devote to citizen safety. Data from different systems and applications can be exchanged and linked between local, federal and EU institutions via a common interface manager and special adapters. This means that administrations and security organizations are no longer restricted when it comes to Europe-wide communication and cooperation.
