Superbrands has been recognizing the strongest corporate brands internationally for over 14 years. After 2005, T-Systems was recognized for the second time – as the only company of the IT/TC industry.
Independent, national juries in 85 countries guarantee that only the best Superbrands are chosen during the sensitive selection process. Criteria include brand dominance, customer loyalty, goodwill, longevity and general brand acceptance.
The prize goes hand-in-hand with a book of the same name in which each of the recognized companies is given a two-page spread. The book will be released in over 40 countries and will be available in many hotels as well as the first and business class lounges of selected airlines.
Performance in black and white
By presenting T-Systems with the award, the jury acknowledged the company's successful communication strategy. A Superbrand is a brand that is well-respected, has high market value and is able to be persuasive with its quality, consistency and customer loyalty even in hard times. At the gala event on November 24th, the chosen Superbrands were presented with a certificate and a trophy for excellent brand management. This was the fourth time the strongest brands have been recognized in Germany. The first three ceremonies took place in 2004, 2005 and 2007. In addition to T-Systems, other companies including Deutsche Bank, BMW and TUI were recognized in 2009.
