Traditional or agile: Azure in Mode 1 and Mode 2 operation

T-Systems offers traditional ITIL-based services and, as one of eight providers worldwide, agile services for the Azure Cloud. The latter includes security services such as the Managed Portal, Azure Cost Control and Monitoring.

Modular design – needs-based and expandable

The Managed Cloud Services (MCS) for Azure are also available in two modules: The basic module "MCS Azure – Foundation" manages all core resources, such as virtual networks, routing, peering, KeyVault, etc. It also integrates the setup of access rights for all Azure services, the regular comparison of the provided resources with the defined guidelines, cost reporting and monitoring. The "MCS Azure - Advanced" module extends these basic services to include virtual machines (VM) and operating system instances (OS). T-Systems also manages these – including regular quality and security updates according to the specifications published by Microsoft or the respective Linux distributor. All resources can be flexibly booked and unbooked in Self-Service.

Well-advised from the start

No matter which variant is chosen: At the beginning of each project, T-Systems experts check the planned or existing use of Azure and familiarize themselves with the existing operating procedures. This information is used to carry out a targeted consultation, individually prepare an offer and carefully plan the transformation and transition of selected Azure services – upon request, also as part of a joint workshop as well as an included proof of concept.
