2017 Magic Quadrant for Managed Workplace Services, Europe: Positioned as a Leader
Feb 14, 2017
Gartner recognizes T-Systems as a leading provider in its "Magic Quadrant for Managed Workplace Services, Europe”. The report takes into account 15 service providers in total.
In its first-ever Magic Quadrant on European Managed Workplace Services, research and advisory firm Gartner has recognized T-Systems as a Leader for its "Dynamic Workplace" solution, which provides workplace IT from the cloud, among other services. Gartner scrutinized and compared the cloud offerings of 15 providers, along with their accompanying support and service. "We are thrilled with this result, which we believe confirms our strategy," says Dr. Stefan Bucher, acting head of the IT Division at T-Systems International. "We will continue to enhance our Dynamic Workplace offering consequently and for the long term. Our portfolio helps companies work more efficiently and more productively. New employees can be added to the IT infrastructure and separations executed more quickly, for example, and roles can be defined and assigned to single users and groups."
Workplace IT on demand
Companies can get new, modern IT workplaces from the cloud from T-Systems at the touch of a button. They not only benefit from pay-as-you-go billing models, but also from modern, up-to-date desktop services thanks to the centralized delivery of data and software, cutting both the costs of IT and the required administration effort. The flexible Dynamic Workplace services support a wide range of customer requirements – whether migration, the integration of existing legacy applications, BYOD (bring your own device) concepts or specific protection solutions such as the data custodian concept with Microsoft. T-Systems provides Office 365 from its own data center in Germany, for example.
In addition, all Dynamic Workplace services can be used flexibly on a wide variety of user devices. The data and programs are available everywhere, all the time – on laptops, smartphones and tablet PCs. T-Systems guarantees maximum security with its own data centers in Germany, two-factor authentication and custom policies. Companies can define, for example, which applications and data users can access, dependent on the device and access method they are using.
