The Information Services Group (ISG) ranks T-Systems as a leading provider in the area of "security services" for large accounts. T-Systems finishes high in the leader quadrant due to its portfolio attractiveness and competitive strength. "To be successful in the highly complex and challenging security services market for the large accounts segment, respective players must have great (international) experience with a broad scope of solutions," ISG’s analysts noted. Powerful, and often international teams must be supplied to support their clients. "T-Systems, too, provides a large and experienced security team," says ISG.
For its market analysis titled "Cyber Security Solutions & Services – ISG Provider Lens Germany 2019," the analyst firm evaluated 85 providers in the German market. The analysis was based on ISG’s own research and a review of publicly available market information. ISG defines security services as security solutions
and cloud services
offered by those providers that do not also supply products. The services include consulting, training, integration, maintenance, support and managed security services.
In their study, ISG analysts pointed in particular to the "very comprehensive" Magenta Security portfolio that extends from consulting and implementation to managed services and cloud-based security services. They also described the integrated Cyber Defense and Security Operations Center in Bonn, the largest such security operation center in Europe, as one of T-Systems’ major strengths. In conclusion, the ISG study noted, "Similar to the midmarket segment, large enterprises, too, attach great relevance to security operations centers (SOCs) in Germany."
