Female employee are entitled to maternity leave with pay as follows: 98 calendar days for normal maternity
- In such case, she has to give notice of pregnancy, i.e. medical certificate confirming her pregnancy and the expected date of confinement, and her intention to take maternity leave to the Company after the pregnancy has been confirmed.
- Absences for regular medical checks for pregnant women before delivery are counted as normal working attendance rather than sick leaves.
- If the local government has different regulations, local government regulations will be followed.
- A photocopy of the birth certificate must be provided to HR Department.
