At the first professional congress of the Cyber Security Cluster Bonn, business, political and social leaders will discuss the major trends and challenges posed by digital security today and tomorrow.
There is no question about it: Technologies like the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence are the future. But they also raise completely new questions about security and compliance! Added to this mix are increasingly cunning cyberattacks that companies, governments and society as a whole must fight off. During the Cyber Security Cluster Bonn, companies and government agencies will jointly address this challenge. On March 13 and 14, 2019, the initiative will open the doors of the World Conference Center and foster discussions among like-minded individuals: Together with Telekom, the Bonn cluster is extending invitations to the first Cyber Security Tech Summit Europe.
IT security on the cutting edge
Under the motto “The Cyber Heartbeat of Europe,” participants will hear keynote addresses by international speakers – including such highly respected experts such as Arne Schönbohm (German Office for Information Security) and Ludwig Leinhos (German armed forces). All addresses made to the conference will be simultaneously interpreted into German and English. Telekom security experts will also attend the conference and lead breakout sessions with their partners. In one of those session, Dirk Backofen, the Head of Telekom Security and the Chairman of the Cyber Security Cluster Bonn, will provide information and strategies regarding current security threats.
Time for networking
During dinner and drinks, the evening event on the first day of the conference will provide the perfect opportunity for direct discussions and will be the highlight of broad networking opportunities at the summit. The conference will also include real use-case scenarios, guidance through the solutions of the “security jungle” and exciting start-ups and innovation topics.
