International Supply Chain Conference

October 23 - 25, 2019 | Berlin

Pure dynamics: In a digitalized and AI-influenced world, the demands placed on companies, products, systems and solutions are constantly changing. From 23 to 25 October 2019, the BVL (Bundesvereinigung Logistik e. V.) therefore invites visitors to join the International Supply Chain Conference in Berlin – the theme: "Inspire – Encourage – Act"
The renowned event offers supply chain managers, lateral thinkers and operational decision-makers in logistics, manufacturing and purchasing the ideal framework to pursue current issues and actively find solutions. The focus lies on topics such as smart production and adaptive logistics, autonomous delivery, trade from the first to the last mile, shortage of skilled workers, cost- and resource-saving returns processing or data-based supply chain optimization – and all of this in real-life situations and on the basis of practical examples.
The BVL expects around 3,500 participants to join the four exclusive outdoor sequences in Berlin. T-Systems, as selected partner, will be present at the accompanying exhibition and highlight digital solutions for a seamless and transparent supply chain.
In the logistics sector, data is golden. The sharing of data with complete data sovereignty and the targeted processing of parameters become decisive competitive factors and contribute to the optimization of the value-added network. Be it in the form of information on the production status in real time, movement and traffic data in route planning or the current position and condition of the goods during transport. Dr. Anton Schäfer, Industry Lead Travel, Transportation & Logistics, will address these topics and give a keynote lecture on "Digitization in transport logistics - building trust, sharing data" at the Hotel InterContinental Berlin, Potsdam I on 24 October, followed by a panel discussion.
