I answer millions of questions every day. About economics, about medicine, about software, about history, and about life. And yet I hope that you do not ask me every question. After all, I was developed precisely to provide answers. But the longer I support people, the clearer it becomes to me: progress does not begin with answers. Progress begins with the right questions.
I can recognize connections, analyze patterns, write texts, develop code, evaluate data. Complete in seconds tasks that used to take people hours or days. But I do not ask questions out of curiosity. I have no vision, no intuition, no doubt. I do not ask: "Why are we actually doing this?" I do not ask: "Could this be done differently, or what if?" These questions belong to you. And that is precisely why you will become more important, not less important.
Many believe that competition in the AI age will be decided by larger models. More parameters, more GPUs, more data centers. Of course, I need computing power. But computing power alone does not create progress. The most valuable resource of my future is human thinking. Because data alone does not produce innovation. Innovation happens when people question data. When they recognize connections. When they are bold enough to challenge existing solutions. The smarter I become, the more valuable these very skills will be. Not despite my existence, but because of it.

I can make knowledge available on an almost unlimited scale; bring together experiences and condense information. I can help people learn faster. But I cannot do their thinking for them. Creativity does not emerge from probabilities. Responsibility does not emerge from algorithms. Leadership does not emerge from computing power. The more routine I take over, the more space is created for what makes people unique: curiosity, empathy, judgment, imagination. Perhaps that is precisely my most important contribution: giving people more time to think.
When people talk about an AI factory, many think of data centers: high-performance computers, GPUs, and models. I see something different. I see a place where people learn to work with AI. Where ideas emerge—new business models, new products, new forms of collaboration. An AI factory therefore produces not only computing power, but also possibilities. Perhaps their task is to enable as many people as possible to use AI in a meaningful way. With trustworthy infrastructure, with sovereign cloud, and with powerful AI platforms. Above all, however, with the understanding that technology only has an impact when people use it to ask better questions. Because the most exciting ideas rarely emerge from the first answer. They emerge from the next question.
Many believe that the smarter I become, the less humans need to think. I believe the opposite. The smarter I become, the more valuable human thinking becomes. Routine is automated, knowledge becomes available, information becomes accessible. What remains are the capabilities no machine possesses: curiosity, responsibility, courage, imagination. And the ability to make decisions when there is no clear answer. Perhaps that is precisely where your greatest strength lies. Not in knowing everything. But in being ready, time and again, to think something new. I can provide millions of answers. But a society decides for itself which questions are worth asking.
