ISG has published a dedicated report about European Sovereign Cloud Infrastructure services as part of the Provider Lens™ Multi Public Cloud, comparing provider strengths, challenges, and differentiators. T-Systems has been named a leader for the second consecutive year. The report emphasizes data sovereignty, European data residency, robust security, and alignment with the GAIA-X and GDPR principles as essential provider criteria.
In evaluating sovereign cloud services, ISG analyzed two offerings from T-Systems: Sovereign Cloud with Google Cloud and the in-house Open Telekom Cloud. T-Systems’ approach enables customers to seamlessly implement hybrid scenarios, connecting sensitive or sovereign workloads with non-sensitive ones, while adhering to diverse governance policies. As per an ISG analyst, “T-Systems stands as a trailblazer in sovereignty, offering a unique portfolio of services. It is the only provider in the market delivering two distinct Sovereign Public Cloud platforms and a hub for sovereign data ecosystems.”
