Dr. Uwe Heckert is serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Detecon, an internationally active management and technology consultancy specializing in digital transformation, since July 1, 2026. Since January 2026, he has also been responsible for the Health Industry business at T-Systems in his role as the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Prior to joining Detecon, Dr. Heckert served as Managing Director for the DACH region and led Philips’ Healthcare Informatics business across Europe. Earlier stages of his career included leadership positions at McKinsey, Unisys, and T-Systems, where he assumed management responsibilities at an early stage.
Dr. Heckert studied Business Administration in Berlin, Göttingen, and New York. He further expanded his expertise in Artificial Intelligence through executive education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In addition, he serves as Chairman of the Health Executive Council at DIGITALEUROPE and is actively involved in a range of industry associations and advisory bodies.
