Pronova BKK launches new service app with Telekom/T-Systems

New service app for the Pronova insured

Pronova BKK and T-Systems are launching a new era of digital healthcare services together: With the new service app, insured members will soon have access to a powerful, intuitive, and accessible digital platform for all matters related to their health insurance. Whether it's reporting sick leave, accessing bonus programs, or submitting reimbursement claims – the app brings health insurance services directly to the smartphone and makes them available 24/7.

New standards for user-friendliness and future-readiness

Design, development, and integration from a single source

The app is being designed and developed by T-Systems and Telekom MMS. It will launch on September 1, 2026, with a migration phase leading up to the deactivation of the previous app. Starting January 1, 2027, the new application will be fully available to all insured members. The contract covers development, implementation, and integration for a minimum of three years.

Key factors for awarding the contract included not only technical excellence but also a strong user-centric approach, modern design, and comprehensive accessibility. Throughout the development phase, customer feedback will be continuously integrated to ensure the app meets the needs of its users. 

This collaboration is part of a shared commitment to the future of statutory health insurance – including joint innovation efforts in the alternus Zukunftswerkstatt, where both partners develop forward-thinking concepts for tomorrow’s healthcare.
