Roman Schneider was born in 1991 and lives in the south of Germany near Ulm. His AWS journey commenced in 2018 when he began supporting large enterprise-grade customers manage their AWS Organizations. In December 2020 Roman joined the T-Systems AWS Chapter and immediately got fascinated when he saw the possibilities for various cost and process optimizations provided by AWS. As a member of the product management team, he has concentrated his AWS knowledge and competence within the area of Financial Operations (FinOps) and cost optimization solutions. Roman actively and tirelessly supports customers, helping them optimize their AWS environments and realize potential savings, enabling them to improve their business health. Since September 2022 provides consultancy services in his role as FinOps Consultant focusing on leveraging AWS Best Practices to increase operational cost efficiency.
