Before joining the Hyperscaler Managed Services in August 2023, Karl served as Program Manager at T-Systems Road User Services GmbH, where he led the migration of the Toll4Europe customer from on-premises infrastructure to AWS. He was also responsible for the setup of three toll operators (in Germany, Belgium, and Europe), and served as Program Lead for the BSI IT Grundschutz Certification of Toll Collect.
In his current role, he is driving the extension of Managed Services, the Trusted Landing Zone Framework for all hyperscalers, and Sovereignty Solutions. At the same time, he is a passionate enthusiast on various topics such as Agile, DevOps, cloud architectures, FinOps, security, and sovereignty, always trying to find solutions that bring added value for his customers.
Karl holds a Diploma in Business Computing from the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin (HTW).
