Ferri Abolhassan has been a member of the Telekom board since January 2024. As CEO of T-Systems, he is responsible for the corporate customer division of the group. With his team of 27,000 employees, he supports companies in their digital transformation. His business philosophy is centered on listening to customers to understand their needs. Consequently, individual offerings from the areas of consulting, cloud, digital, AI, connectivity, and security are increasingly bundled into comprehensive solutions – with zero outage (maximum reliability) as the ambition level. Abolhassan’s objective is to meet the growing demand for integrated and reliable ICT solutions, with the aim of turning customers into fans of T-Systems.
Before taking on the role as CEO at T-Systems, Abolhassan, who holds a doctorate in computer science, was Managing Director Sales & Service at Telekom Deutschland. Additionally, he is actively engaged in various honorary positions, including serving as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), as a Senator of the German Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech) and as a member of the Max Planck Society, the Board of Trustees of the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, the Board of Management of Bitkom and of Atlantik-Brücke. In addition, he is a member of the Saarland Digitization Council and official Saarland ambassador.
