At the digital customer event “Accelerate Digital Now”, T-Systems will showcase its new artificial intelligence (AI) solution and the new network security offering for the first time. The Telekom Data Science Platform gives business customers access to ten selected AI programs in the public cloud. Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) offers network and security functionalities from the cloud. T-Systems provides support from consulting to implementation.
From April, customers will be able to use the Telekom Data Science Platform from the cloud. With it, they develop models for artificial intelligence, train them and then use the Artificial Intelligence in their daily business. There is a choice of ten AI programs such as Kubeflow, TensorFlow and JupyterHub. For business customers, T-Systems installs the Platform-as-a-Service in the public cloud of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or Open Telekom Cloud. A fixed price is charged per user, plus the costs for the cloud. An option for self-service will follow later in the year: AI resources on the Internet will then be available immediately at the click of a mouse.
This means that T-Systems has three AI packages on offer: from the basic ModelArts on the Open Telekom Cloud, to Telekom Data Science Platform on the cloud of choice, to the full solution AI Solution Factory. The packages differ in performance and price. ModelArts is currently free of charge as a beta version.
For the Secure Access Service Edge Service, T-Systems now offers the complete package, from consulting to implementation. SASE bundles essential security and connectivity features on a cloud-based platform. This allows administrators to manage their security simply and centrally. As the company grows, so do the security functions. Security hardware becomes software: from Firewall-as-a-Service to Remote Access VPN, Cloud Access Security Broker to Sandboxing. The offering comprises several bundles and SASE-packages to cover all customer requirements. A free self-test on the Internet makes it easier to get started with SASE.
T-Systems will present new solutions and experts in three digital customer events this year. In Episode 1 on 22nd February, Adel Al-Saleh, Member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom and CEO of T-Systems, will discuss the megatrends, challenges and implementation strategies that will shape the coming decade.
