Setting up an Azure Stack environment brings some degree of complexity with it – from housing to the network to selection and integration of the appliance. With DSI Azure Stack T-Systems therefore not only offers the Microsoft platform, but also performs design, setup and operation. Data and applications are stored on dedicated hardware in the T-Systems data center or on-site with the customer. Companies then receive a highly secure private cloud solution that can be easily extended to the hybrid cloud.
The right strategy for every requirement
DSI Azure Stack is ideal for companies that have to meet high compliance requirements. Local data retention ensures fast transactions and optimizes the connection of branch offices. A team of experts offers support from the very beginning and develops a complete IT strategy in cooperation with the customer according to individual requirements. Companies receive a turnkey private cloud solution, with regular patches and updates included. Thanks to the leasing model, companies have an overview of the respective costs at all times.
Local data processing allows data to be further processed instantly and at high speed. The solution is therefore ideal for time-critical processes and applications that require a high processing speed – trading for example.
Even strict requirements can be met via cloud usage on dedicated hardware, such as when critical data must not leave the company or the country.
Hybrid Cloud Extension
Microsoft offers a universal Azure ecosystem with uniform standards and platforms in the public and private cloud. Applications and workloads can be operated and relocated seamlessly.
Applications that have been developed in the public cloud can be easily provided locally on Azure Stack – without any changes to the code.
Internet of Things
Large data volumes, from IoT networks in industry and manufacturing for example, can be (pre-)processed via Azure Stack first and then easily transferred to the public cloud for further analyses as required.
In many areas companies simply cannot depend on the private or public cloud only. The public cloud offers more flexibility and computing power, but company-critical applications and data require a higher degree of protection. In combination with Azure Public, Azure Stack offers both – by combining both offers, companies can enjoy the benefits of a hybrid cloud solution.
Azure Stack expands Azure Public
As a tier-1 CSP partner of the Microsoft Cloud Solution Partner Program, T-Systems offers both Azure Stack and Azure Public. The Telekom subsidiary provides complete service, including infrastructure and management. That way, highly secure private cloud resources can be flexibly extended with the additional capacities of the Azure platform. If a company requires an environment for development, more computing power for temporary data analyses or has to account for seasonal peak loads, workloads can be quickly and easily relocated to the public cloud. Additional benefits for industry and manufacturing: Information from IoT applications can be processed locally and close to production in the private cloud and transferred for further analysis to a central system in the public cloud as required.
Flexibility without impacting security
In this hybrid scenario safety-critical data and applications are still stored in a private IT environment, for example when they must not leave the company or country due to strict compliance and data protection regulations.
