T-Systems and the Telekom TechBoost startup “Smart-Study” are jointly offering a digital learning platform (Ucademy) and comprehensive content to advance the administration of tomorrow. Ucademy enables 16,000 employees of the Hessian Ministry of Finance to learn flexibly according to their schedules. The competency-based e-learning provides training in areas such as soft skills, MS Office, project management, leadership skills, sustainability, and compliance.
The Hessian Ministry of Finance was looking for a cloud-based learning management system (LMS) for the training management of the Hessian financial administration. The requirements included classic seminar management, e-learning, talent management with assignment to a competence pillar model, implementation of individual approval processes, integrated creation of interactive videos and online courses, user-friendly design with gamification elements, examination and certificate creation, and comprehensive rights and roles concept.
The Ucademy is connected to the active directory via an interface and enables employees to access the platform without entering login details (single sign-on). The platform thus fulfills the promise of providing employees with a low-threshold learning offer that can be easily integrated into everyday working life. The high security standards of the Open Telekom Cloud also guarantee the necessary information security and data protection criteria. The platform also meets accessibility requirements and can therefore be used inclusively.
