PARA analyses road infrastructure conditions in the cloud, thus making driving a lot safer and smoother. This solution was backed by Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary working with state-of-the-art technology. The project uses the functionalities of the mobile phone (gyroscope and camera) and provides information about the condition of the road. The project provides information on road quality and saves money and time by helping drivers avoid traffic jams and roads in bad condition.
Cognity Care serves as a virtual psychiatrist's aid. It gives patients the opportunity to train their cognitive functions and the executive, also by composing objects, finding a way, following procedures, planning or relaxing. At the same time, it simplifies diagnostics, uses interaction with the virtual environment and offers the need for exposure therapy. The team tested the application in cooperation with the open department of psychiatry at the Hospital in Trebišov (Svet Zdravia a.s.) on volunteer patients who showed an improvement in executive processes compared to patients who did not undergo this form of therapy.
Nearly two hundred years ago, in the last years of his life, Beethoven began writing another piece of music, but he was unable to finish it. Only sketches remained of the “unfinished work” that has captured the imagination of many ever since. On the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the composer's birth, a group of international scientists, composers, music historians and technologists, encouraged by Telekom, decided to give it a try using artificial intelligence to complete the piece from existing melody scores. The symphony, the result of a unique process involving humans and AI, will be premiered this October in Bonn, Germany, Beethoven's hometown.
