After earning a degree in nursing, UK-born Kate Berghaus studied German and Italian. In 1995 she followed up her bachelor’s with a graduate degree in health care administration. That same year, she completed a management trainee program at the National Health Service, the UK’s national health care system. She then went to work as a project manager in the field of research and quality management at CASPE Research, a London-based non-profit organization specializing in medical facilities.
After moving to Germany and working several years as an ICU nurse, Kate Berghaus served in various management positions at AGFA HealthCare and Hospitalvereinigung St. Marien.
She has served as project manager for KIS iMedOne at Telekom Healthcare Solutions since 2019.
