Is it material prosperity and a crisis-proof job? Equal rights and unlimited self-realization? World peace and climate protection? Each new generation focuses on different values and goals. So what will be important to Generation Z in the future? In order to answer this question, we have established the exclusive Chief Tomorrow Officer internship at Deutsche Telekom and T-Systems.

What is a Chief Tomorrow Officer?

The best way to predict the future is to invent it! That is why we at T-Systems listen to those to whom the #future belongs. We listen to the #QuestionsForTomorrow that #GenZ are interested in and together we solve these questions to get ready for our future.

What does a Chief Tomorrow Officer do?

Chief Tomorrow Officer is not a job in the traditional sense – we use the term to describe a new generation of leaders: People with a positive mindset, who are forward-thinking and exert influence across different departments in the company. The expertise of a Chief Tomorrow Officer is to take the lead and find new solutions. It’s about asking urgent and challenging questions about short-term issues that lead to long-term change.

We believe in people who ask important questions. Questions that have the power to unlock the potential of the future.

Our company’s experts have already identified a few topics for which innovative ideas are needed. In addition to these topics, you can also bring your own #QuestionForTomorrow. This question should be related to one of Deutsche Telekom's areas of work, such as

Application and selection as Chief Tomorrow Officer

Presentation of the 4-step application process

Our application and selection process is divided into four phases (see illustration on the right).

Do you like to question the status quo? Then apply with innovative ideas on already identified future topics or create two to three slides to present your own #QuestionForTomorrow. Pitch your concept to us and convince business mentors of your idea. Together with these experts, you will develop your own project or pilot independently and on your own responsibility.
