In July 2019, the Information Services Group (ISG) ranked T-Systems as the leading provider in the area of "security services" for large accounts for the fifth time in succession. In terms of both portfolio attractiveness and competitive strength, T-Systems achieved the highest scores of all the IT security providers evaluated. The result is a clear positioning as number 1, and thus leader amongst leaders, ahead of IBM, Atos, DXC Technology and Computacenter in the important security sector. ISG sums up: "T-Systems sets the standard for security services for large accounts in Germany".
For its market analysis titled "Cyber Security Solutions & Services – ISG Provider Lens Germany 2019," the analyst firm evaluated 85 providers in the German market. The analysis was based on ISG’s own research and a review of publicly available market information. ISG defines security services as security solutions and cloud services offered by those providers that do not also supply products. The services include consulting, training, integration, maintenance, support and managed security services.
For the ISG analysts, the extensive portfolio of security services is a decisive factor in their evaluation. T-Systems covers all security technologies and is constantly expanding its portfolio in close cooperation with corresponding technology partners. European customers continue to benefit from the provision of security services from German data centers and locations. T-Systems operates the largest integrated Cyber Defense and Security Operations Center in Europe. In 2019, the Managed Security Services business will be expanded continuously and internationally. T-Systems is also planning to set up a Security Operations Center (SOC) in Singapore for customers doing business in Asia.
