Managing Director

Gert Schoonbee

Member of the Management Board, T-Systems South Africa
Gert Schoonbee was appointed Managing Director of T-Systems in South Africa in 2012. Gert has more than 20 years of experience in the ICT Industry spanning all the key industries, where he played different roles including Solution Crafting, Business Development and Sales.
His experience in the Strategic Management of information in large enterprises assisted to shape, conclude and run large outsourcing deals with the biggest corporates in South Africa.
In 2012, Gert launched the T-Systems Nation Building initiative to ensure stronger relevance of T-Systems as a multi-national in South Africa by creating people purpose. This ongoing initiative continues to shape the cultural character of T-Systems.
Gert Joined T-Systems in August 2000. Prior to T-Systems, Gert was a director and co-owner at e-volution responsible for Business Development.
Other formal employers are IBM Consulting Group (2 years) and Coopers & Lybrand Management Advisory Services (2 years) Gert holds a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pretoria, and a MBA from the Graduate School of Business of the University of Cape Town.

Dineo Molefe

Member of the Management Board, T-Systems South Africa
Dineo has over 20 years’ experience in Finance, having held various positions across companies such the Industrial Development Corporation, Eskom Holdings Limited, Vodacom South Africa, and Thebe Investment Corporation (Group Finance Director).
Dineo is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) SA, having completed her Bachelor of Accounting Science (BCompt.) Honours and CTA at the University of South Africa (UNISA). In addition, she holds a Masters of Commerce (MComm.) degree in International Accounting from the University of Johannesburg (UJ), and Advanced Management Program from Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.
Dineo is also a Board and Audit Committee Member of two JSE listed companies.
Vice President Delivery

Morne Weyers

Member of the Management Board, T-Systems South Africa
Morne has a B.Eng degree in Electronic Engineering, a M.SC degree in Industrial Engineering, a LLB degree and a Honours Degree in Psychology.
He is currently completing his PhD degree on the Application of Supplychain Principles in the Services Industry
Morne is primary responsible for all T-Systems South Africa IT Infrastructure Services delivered. His accountability includes the joined portofolio (Delivery) of Systems Integration and Infrastructure Delivery.
Vice President Sales and Service Management - South

Mike Butner

Member of the Management Board, T-Systems South Africa
Mike Buttner joined T-Systems in 2007 as General Manager Operations. In 2010 Mike worked at T-Systems International in the European offices (Netherlands) as Vice President Services for the Philips Global Account.
In January 2013 Mike re- joined T-Systems South Africa as Vice President of Delivery and is accountable for ensuring successful delivery of all contracted services. Mike is part of the T-Systems South Africa Executive team as well as an executive for T-Systems EMEA. He brings to T-Systems 29 years of Information and Communication Technology experience, of which 27 have been in various leadership positions.
He thrives on leading teams and is currently embarking on his Masters degree in Professional Development (Strategic Leadership) with the University of Middlesex in the UK.
He is also an active member of the Chartered Management Institute in the UK.
Mike holds Diploma’s in Operations and Business Management from the CSSA and Economic Leadership and Development with the Manheim Business School.
Mike’s extensive career in the ICT industry includes strategic customer management, program management, contract management and negotiation, sales, operational management, and transformation management for large corporate customers locally and internationally.
Vice President Strategy and Transformation

Adre du Plessis

Member of the Management Board, T-Systems South Africa
Adré du Plessis joined T-Systems South Africa in 2008. Her working career started doing vacation work at Coopers & Lybrand as a bursary student. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant and completed her articles at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She had the privilege to work in various industries various functional disciplines and various countries including Israel (Tel-Aviv), Belgium, Germany (Stuttgart, Munich), Luxembourg, Switzerland (Geneva) and Turkey (Istanbul).
Upon joining T-Systems SA in 2008 Adré started off in the Corporate Business Development department, where she was responsible for the deployment of the T-Systems South Africa Strategy which included managing the BBBEE accreditation process and Service Integration in a Multi- Sourcing environment.
She was appointed as Account Executive of a key customer in April 2010 and moved on to become the Vice President of Service in TSSA in April 2012 where she was responsible for the Service organisation and for the implementation of the Service Strategy in South Africa, including amongst others Service Delivery, Solution Design and Strategic Programme Management.
In April 2013 she was appointed Vice President Strategy and Transformation. Adré’s focus areas include Strategy, Governance, Internal IT, Process, Quality, Risk Management, Internal Audit, BBBEE, Internship Programmes, Enterprise Supplier Development, Organisational Culture and Change Management, Talent Management and Leadership Programmes.
Vice President Human Resources

Sheila Motsepe

Member of the Management Board, T-Systems South Africa
Sheila Motsepe was appointed Vice President Human Resources in June 2013 and is also a member of the Executive Committee of T-Systems South Africa.
Sheila joined T-Systems from Deloitte Consulting, Human Capital SA, where she has been an Associate Director since 2011.
Sheila was Group Executive: Human Resources at Business Connexion for 2 years, and has worked with a number of blue chip and governmental organisations during her career.
