Since 2021, Dr. Gökay Ilgin has worked as Head of Competence Chemistry & Pharma, Electronics, Utilities at T-Systems International GmbH. Before coming to T-Systems, he held various senior management positions at Bayer AG and Hydro Aluminium GmbH. He has also given lectures at the Universities of Duisburg and Essen, as well as in Qatar.
He has worked for 15 years in process manufacturing and has a solid foundation of skills in the areas of information systems, business development, consulting, project management, and supply chain management. His motivation is to push forward vision and strategy while steering digital transformation and innovation to achieve success together with the customer.
Dr. Ilgin studied mechanical engineering (BSc), industrial engineering (MSc), and gained his doctorate in the field of transport systems and logistics. Since his studies, he has lived in the vicinity of Dusseldorf with his wife and two daughters.
