Dr. Ferri Abolhassan

Deutsche Telekom Board Member and CEO T-Systems

Since January 1, 2024, Ferri Abolhassan has been a member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom AG, responsible for the Group’s corporate customer division and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of T-Systems.

Ferri Abolhassan has more than 30 years of experience in the IT sector: He holds a PhD in computer science from Saarland University. He began his professional career as a student trainee at Siemens in Munich before moving to IBM in San Jose (USA). From 1992, he worked at SAP in various management roles. After four years at the helm of IDS Scheer, he returned to SAP in 2005, where he was most recently Executive Vice President Large Enterprise EMEA.

In 2008, Abolhassan joined T-Systems as a member of the Management Board and took over the Systems Integration division. From 2010 he was in charge of production until 2013 when he was responsible for the entire delivery. From 2015, he headed the IT division with approx. 30,000 employees. From December 2015 to November 2016, he was also responsible for the development of the Telekom Security business unit.

In October 2016, Abolhassan joined Telekom Deutschland as Managing Director and headed the service division. In May 2021, he was also given responsibility for sales. He led the newly formed Sales & Service division, with all sales and service channels and 30,000 employees, until his return to T-Systems.

Ferri Abolhassan is a volunteer Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), a member of the Atlantik-Brücke and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Max Planck Institute for Informatics. In addition, he is a member of the Saarland Digitalization Council and an official Saarland ambassador.

Urs M. Krämer

Urs M. Krämer, Managing Director Commercial T-Systems

Chief Commercial Officer

As of January 1st, 2022 Urs M. Krämer is appointed Director Commercial at T-Systems International GmbH. In this role, he is responsible for Global Sales and Marketing.

Urs M. Krämer comes from Sopra Steria SE, a leading European management and technology consulting company with 46,000 employees in almost 30 countries. His latest role was CEO of the Germany and Austria region since 2014. Since 2019, he has also been a member of the Group Executive Board of the Sopra Steria Group, Paris.

Urs M. Krämer began his professional career in 1999 at Accenture in Munich. He held various management positions at Horváth & Partners Management Consultants, APCOA Parking Group and the Limbach Group, the largest privately owned laboratory group in Germany. Krämer is highly experienced in top management with restructuring and transformation. He will contribute this expertise and his industry knowledge in the areas of consulting, mobility, healthcare and financial services directly to the further strategic positioning of T-Systems.

Christoph Ahrendt

Christoph Ahrendt, Managing Director Finance & Controlling T-Systems

Finance & Controlling Director

Christoph Ahrendt assumed the position of Director of Finance & Controlling on March 3, 2016. After completing his studies at the University of Cologne with a degree in business informatics, Mr. Ahrendt began his career at KPMG Consulting AG in Düsseldorf before coming to Deutsche Telekom AG as a Senior Consultant in 2002.

Mr. Ahrendt has held various management positions within the Group since 2003. He initially held the office of Vice President responsible for setting up the Vivento business. He then worked as Vice President at Corporate Programs and People & Organization where he implemented different transformation programs for the Deutsche Telekom AG Board of Management. Mr. Ahrendt became Senior Vice President Financial & Performance Management in spring 2009 where he headed the efficiency project “Save for Service“, as well as the benchmarking processes for the entire Group.

He joined T-Systems in 2012 as Senior Vice President Finance & Controlling Telekom IT. Four years later he assumed responsibility for the T-Systems Finance area as Director of Finance & Controlling.

Zsuzsanna Friedl

Chief HR Officer

As Chief HR Officer, Zsuzsanna Friedl has been responsible for all HR activities at T-Systems since January 1, 2024. She will therefore be taking on a key role in the development of a long-term growth company.

Zsuzsanna Friedl began her career 1999 at General Electric, where she was responsible for various HR roles within the company. In 2007, she joined UPC Hungary, where she took over the role of HR Director. From 2013, Zsuzsanna Friedl held the position of HR Director at Microsoft Hungary. Her responsibilities included implementing the regional diversity strategy as well as the strategic talent and succession management.

In 2017 she then held the position of Chief People Officer at Magyar Telekom. There, she was responsible for the HR strategy, agile transformation, diversity and inclusion as well as the company’s sustainability strategy.
