Thomas Friedland was born in 1984 and lives in eastern Germany near Dresden. He completed his training as a software technologist at the B.I.B. international College Görlitz. He began his IT career as a system engineer in the support environment where he was able to gain a lot of experience in setting up highly available systems and web applications. He specialised in virtualisation, network and storage systems as well as the monitoring of infrastructures. Since 2016, he has been increasingly involved with cloud topics, including building and operating complex microservice environments on cloud platforms, as well as their automated deployment. Since then, he has worked on various AWS topics for enterprise customers.
