Then become part of the T-Systems Graduate Program. Here, theory, practice and personal responsibility are optimally combined.
Our 6 or 9-month Graduate Program starts in May and October 2023. The program is divided into seven phases, with a mix of theory and practice. After that, you will go through different learning phases as well as exciting and varied practical assignments according to your chosen track: Digital or Tech. During your entire learning journey, you will be supported by experienced mentors and agile coaches.
Take a look at the detailed process to get an overview of your time as a graduate at T-Systems. Throughout your learning journey, you will be accompanied by mentors. Both during your time at the company and through group coaching sessions, in which you will receive continuous professional feedback for your optimal development.
Onboarding Days
Starting out in a company as large and complex as T-Systems involves a lot of new impressions and information. That's why we start the Graduate Program with the Onboarding Days. Here you will get to know T-Systems and everything that is relevant for your start. And most importantly, you'll get to know the other graduates and build up your network within the company from day one.
Get some insights from the Onboarding Days in November 2022.
Essentials-Getting started
After that, you start directly with the Essentials, your first learning block on-site and virtually. You will gain initial insights into the topics of digitalization, project management and much more. The Essentials are accompanied by Team Challenges that will help you and your graduate colleagues grow together and show you hands-on what challenges we face as T-Systems but also our customers face.
You will apply the knowledge you have gained so far in your first assignment at your "home base" and gain an in-depth insight into the topics and projects of your department. You will be assigned your first tasks and responsibilities and learn what it means to work in your future role and what it is like to work in an agile environment.
Refresher (optional)
We are convinced that lifelong learning should be an integral part of your development. That's why it's a good idea to get to know other areas of T-Systems right from the start, to see what other business units are working on and how these different topics play into T-Systems' overall goal. In an optional 2-week internship in another area, you will learn exactly that and be able to further expand your network.
Tracks & In-depth knowledge
While the first training sessions were of a more general nature and mostly took place in the group as a whole, you will now go deeper into your area of expertise according to your track and target unit.
In the digital track, you will receive trainings in project management and complete it with a generally recognized certification (e.g. PRINCE2). In addition to sessions on agile project management and a certification as a SCRUM master, you will also receive trainings in the basics of software development as well as an overview of the processes in IT projects. This prepares you ideally to understand and manage IT-related projects.
The tech track includes trainings in modern software engineering, architecture and programming. Depending on the focus of future role, you will receive trainings in Python, Spring Boot, Terraform and Ansible, for example. In addition, you will receive cloud trainings and complete a certificate on Architecture from our partners Google, AWS or Microsoft.
Now that you have gained in-depth knowledge and first practical experience, you start your second assignment in your target area. Take on bigger assignments and more responsibility before you finish the program with a graduation week and start in your target role.
Of course, a graduation ceremony is not to be missed. We will celebrate your success with you and your graduate colleagues and set ourselves exciting challenges once again.
