Starting out in a company as large and complex as T-Systems involves a lot of new impressions and information. That's why we start the Graduate Program with a Welcome Week. Here you will get to know T-Systems and everything that is important for your start. And most importantly, you'll get to know the other graduates and build up your network within the company from day one.
Get some insights from the Welcome Week November 2022.
After that, you start directly with the Digital Essentials, your first learning block on-site and virtually. You will gain initial insights into the topics of digitalization, project management and much more. The Digital Essentials are accompanied by Team Challenges that will help you and your graduate colleagues grow together and show you hands-on what challenges we face as T-Systems but also our customers face.
You will apply the knowledge you have gained so far in your first assignment at your "home base" and gain an in-depth insight into the topics and projects of your department. You will be assigned your first tasks and responsibilities and learn what it means to work in your future role and what it is like to work in an agile environment.
We are convinced that lifelong learning should be an integral part of your development. That's why it's a good idea to get to know other areas of T-Systems right from the start, to see what other business units are working on and how these different topics play into T-Systems' overall goal. In an optional 2-week internship in another area, you will learn exactly that and be able to further expand your network.
While the first training sessions were of a more general nature and mostly took place in the group as a whole, you will now go deeper into your area of expertise according to your track and target unit.
In the digital track, you will receive trainings in project management and complete it with a generally recognized certification (e.g. PRINCE2). In addition to sessions on agile project management and a certification as a SCRUM master, you will also receive trainings in the basics of software development as well as an overview of the processes in IT projects. This prepares you ideally to understand and manage IT-related projects.
The tech track includes trainings in modern software engineering, architecture and programming. Depending on the focus of future role, you will receive trainings in Python, Spring Boot, Terraform and Ansible, for example. In addition, you will receive cloud trainings and complete a certificate on Architecture from our partners Google, AWS or Microsoft.
Now that you have gained in-depth knowledge and first practical experience, you start your second assignment in your target area. Take on bigger assignments and more responsibility before you finish the program with a graduation week and start in your target role.
Of course, a graduation ceremony is not to be missed. We will celebrate your success with you and your graduate colleagues and set ourselves exciting challenges once again.
During the entire learning journey you will be accompanied by a mentor and benefit from the experience and knowledge of our experts from science and business. Your mentor will help you grow into your role, not only in technical questions, but also personally!
Experienced Learn Coaches support you throughout your learning journey. In individual and group coaching sessions, you will receive regular professional feedback for your optimal development. With their guidance, you will experience the agile approach to your personal learning journey.

In the following you will find out how our application process works:
You can apply for the Graduate Program online, directly via the job descriptions. Since T-Systems and our topics are very diverse, we have posted the job descriptions according to our main topics. If you are interested in more than one area, feel free to apply for more than one position!
So that we can get an authentic picture of you right from the start, use the application as a platform for this! For example, we are interested in why you want to work for T-Systems and what drives you. However, a cover letter is not mandatory.
We should also be able to get an overview of your skills. In addition to your professional and educational qualifications, this also includes practical knowledge and international experience that could be relevant to your desired position.
You can find helpful information for your application in our application tips.
As soon as we receive your application, our recruiting team will start looking through your documents. We get an overview of your skills and professional qualifications. A short phone call serves to clarify any open points as well as questions on your side.
The interview is the heart of our recruiting process. Here, we want to get to know you better in a virtual or face-to-face interview and give you the opportunity to get to know T-Systems and your potential future colleagues. We also plan enough time for your questions. If there is a need on your side or ours, there could be a second interview. After the interview, you will receive feedback and the final selection decision.
Now you've made it! You are now a T-Systems Graduate and part of the Magenta family. You can look forward to interesting professional challenges.
