The survey was conducted by the market research company iSCM-Institute. In the study, readers of Computerwoche were asked about the quality of cooperation with their Managed Service Providers (MSPs). A total of 1,437 customers took part in the survey. Among the respondents were CIOs, IT managers, IT administrators, managing directors and department heads of user companies. The IT service providers whose services were rated by at least ten customers each made it into the ranking of the best MSPs.

In 2022, T-Systems did not make it into the rankings. This year, the IT subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom achieved second place behind SVA System Vertrieb Alexander GmbH and is thus ahead of companies such as Bechtle, CANCOM SE and SoftwareONE Deutschland GmbH.
