Lars Micheel, Head of SAP Solution Delivery
Lars Micheel has more than 20 years of operational experience with SAP technologies and more than a decade of experience with innovative cloud solutions. After studying business informatics at the University of Magdeburg, he started his professional career in 1999 at a forerunner company of T-Systems as an SAP administrator and subsequently accompanied numerous SAP projects at DAX companies as a technology consultant. After 2008, Micheel took over various management positions in the SAP field at T-Systems. Among other things, he was responsible for building a global 3rd-level support structure for highly standardized SAP workloads.
As Global Head of Solution Delivery, Micheel has been responsible for the SAP engineering and architecture standards of T-Systems worldwide since 2018 – and also for the development and strategy of the SAP application operation and cloud portfolio. In addition to the introduction of innovative technologies, he is expediting the standardization and automation of Managed SAP Services– whether in the private, hybrid or public cloud. Since 2019, he has also been CTO of the SAP product unit and a member of the CTO board of T-Systems.
